Podcasting - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Last week Golden Gate University hosted an Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Panel Discussion which featured Dr. Don Schultz. Chris Peterson, CEO of Publicis--SF, did a fantastic job of relating how old broadcast mediums are now becoming obsolete and being replaced by new mediums that are more organic. Of course, blogging was one. He had also mentioned podcasts. Recently I had listened to a podcast on Heather's Marketing at Microsoft Blog, but really wasn't certain what it was--I thought the video portion of my RealPlayer was malfunctioning! But, Chris certainly seemes like a pretty sharp guy, so this is probably a technology you should put on your radar.
